Leisure Care: Best Senior Living Awards.

On May 6, Leisure Care was awarded as Best Independent Living, Best Assisted Living and Best Memory Care by The U. S. News.

These results were obtained through surveys of residents, family members and representative family members of senior living communities. The surveys were answered from 1 to 5 on a Likert scale, with 5 being considered the best and 1 the worst. 

Survey responses were collected from April through November 2022,  from a total of 3,509 senior living communities, with only 1,675 recognized as the best in the categories of Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. To be recognized by The U.S. News as a senior living community in the Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care categories, a final weighting of at least 0.85 is needed as a result of the questions that were asked.

Food quality and variety

Administration

Enrichment

Staff

Maintenance

Housekeeping

Bookkeeping

All senior living communities that participated in the surveys are required to have a community profile page on usnews.com which includes information about the various services they provide and comments regarding survey responses.
